Cryogenics is the study of materials at extremely low temperatures.

  • Hammers made of Mercury
  • Smashing rubber balls to fragments
  • The magnetic properties of liquid oxygen
  • The explosive combustion of powdered cream crackers in liq. O2
  • Liquid nitrogen as a bearing fluid

Worked in manufacturing sterling coolers for thermal imaging.

Hammers made of mercury. I see a lethal application here too. Very interesting. MythBusters did the ice bullet. I like this one better
