Uses for Digital Assistant

I think most people here are too paranoid to have a digital assistant....haha

I guess you can always play trivia, or hangman....me, I'm not much for games, but some people seem to enjoy them...

I will try some of them.

I used it to help on crosswords puzzles but it is not very good, even with American editions. Its language processing is not yet to Deep Blue's level. Lol

I found how to add an item to my agenda but it doesn't seem to set reminders ahead of time. I have to set an indépendant timer that cannot relate to the agenda item. This part is a lot easier on the computer.

As for privacy, I believe that we have lost most of it already.

I use these digital timers, I have a bunch of them for everything from pizza and toast to laundry and sprinklers...$2. nice loud beeps

Then I use windows calendar for everything else...unless it's really important, then I use my iphone app alarm clock....

The word assistant is a bit of a stretch.

Everyone I know that had one got it as a gift.

I don't use them as I cringe when people other than myself talk to their devices.

My girlfriend does more cutting her eyes at it than using it.
