about 2 h Pencil

Sir,

Please tell us What does 'H" Stands in the pencil alos tell me what is difference between 2H ,3H and Hb marked on the pencil, What is best pencil to check the hardenss in coating

H is for Hard

B is for soft

each start at 1 and go up (2,3,4 etc)

HB is the middle values for pencils, the standard pencil so to say...

H1 is one step harder than an HB.

2B is two steps softer than an HB.....and so on!!
