Self-cleaning Bathrooms

02/07/2006 10:07 AM

Researchers at the University of New South Wales are working on a titanium dioxide nano-coating that will absorb ultraviolet light and oxidize organic compounds. The end result is a self-cleaning bathroom, that cleans more effectively than even bleach.

I'll be happy to stop scrubbing, but I hope I don't pass out in there after a night at the pub.

I am happy to inform you that we as a company have that technology now. We can apply it to the exterior of a home or building and it will decompose the organic pollutants that would stain the structure. It creates a hydrophillic surface, so that water cannot form a bead. The natural rains then wash it from the surface. The good news is that there is no harmful out gassing to the environment When put on interior walls it does the same thing and in addition it destroys the nano gasses created from your interior furnishings, paint, carpet, chemical use that create indoor air pollution, as well as killing odors. When put on carpeting it negates the effect of the formaldehyde outgassing as well as eliminating dust mites by taking away their food source.

Have a great day
