i wanted to make polymer mortar products, such as tile, window sill etc..
Please advise me on this technology and help to find appropriate polyester resin and accelarators and other raw materials , I have no enough knowledge on Chemicals,
For many years, a mixture of polyurethane resin and sand has been used as a replacement for concrete. First, the polymer - sand composite is flexible enough such that it doesn't crack under sudden stress or cold temperature. It easily molds and can be used to make statuary, mortar, driveways, etc. The polyurethane is typically a moisture-curing resin, and can be either solvent based or 100 % solids. You'll see some shrinkage using a solvent based resin.
