help me up with my controller...please

11/12/2007 1:54 AM

to all my dear engineers: )

can you guys help me on my project...??i'm doing my neuro-fuzzy temperature controller fo heat exchager

well actually i'm setting up downscaled heat exchager where all the sensor and actuator will be control by the neuro-fuzzy controller via PC

guys, the problem was...how do i interface the controller with the sensor and actuator???do i need a data logger or DAQ system to controll my process, and i cannot affort expensive equipment..i'm so confused on this and is there any easiest way that i can control my heat exchanger without using PC

at first, you have to speak, what type is you controller?

digital or analog? whts it interface to sensor or actuator? d or a?

whats interface to computer? p,or s terminal? etc.

so taht we can give you an idea.

most intellegent controller neednt computer, it can control tempereature by itself.

my controller is AI neuro-fuzzy controller.....i'll program the controller using the MATLAB7 and in a personal computer(PC) the i let the PC as the base of my controller...that mean i will control all my sensor and actuator via PC....and what do u mean the interface p or s terminal???and which do u prefer???

tq for ur assistance sir: )

two ways for you to make,

1,

neednt use any ocntroller, but your pc enough! you can use i/o to drive your actuators.after program in you r pc. in way of your neuro fuzzy program.

2

you can use a microchip, and burn your program into it.

you seems to like use the first way.?

What is it you are actually trying to do?

Why is neuro-fuzzy required?

Can your heat exchanger/servo be independant from the rest of your system?

Are you sure you don`t want to use PC , did you try microcontrollers , what kind of actuators and sensors are you considering
