"Cool Edit" Shareware

02/10/2006 10:39 AM

Hello from Canada, I have spent quite a bit of time looking for the old original shareware version of "COOL EDIT", the audio (waveformat) editor. But couldn't find it anywhere. Maybe someone has a copy of this wonderful little shareware program or knows where I can download it? Newer versions are not always better, that's why I'm looking for the original.

Best Regards,
Jens

Is 96 the old one?

I found a link to a site offering download of Cool Edit 96. Most other sites refer to Cool Edit 2000.

The earliest version (shareware, with activation code) is available at http://www.rjamorim.com/rrw/cooledit.html
