Are you saying the robots will all start dancing the Gangnam style now?

Buying stock shares in a foreign company is one thing, but such out-right total company buying should be dis-allowed by the U.S. Federal (guberment?) if (it/they/others) actually do want to protect U.S. National Interests, or is that just another political-pose-for-show, after all?...

To put it another way, is it legal in South Korea for, say, Amazon, to buy Samsung?...

What part?

""You can even say the Samsung chairman is more powerful than the President of South Korea. [South] Korean people have come to think of Samsung as invincible and above the law", said Woo Suk-hoon, host of a popular economics podcast in a Washington Post article headlined "In South Korea, the Republic of Samsung", published on 9 December 2012. Critics claimed that Samsung knocked out smaller businesses, limiting choices for South Korean consumers and sometimes colluded with fellow giants to fix prices while bullying those who investigate. Lee Jung-hee, a South Korean presidential candidate, said in a debate, "Samsung has the government in its hands. Samsung manages the legal world, the press, the academics and bureaucracy".[156]"

What you say is known, but my point is the answer to the question:

How many American companies are allowed to buy national-security-relatable-businesses in how many other countries?

America has the majority of the best companies though....we don't buy companies in foreign countries because American companies are not politically motivated, the companies we buy are for strategic market advantage...the same with other countries, but plays out differently because of government controlled interest...

China I think mostly buys companies to acquire intellectual property...

Trying to predict what will happen in the future is a foolish endeavor, your actions based on predictions could just as likely cause the opposite effect intended....now it doesn't hurt to have a plan in place if things go unexpectedly, but even planning for potential problems has limitations...things change all the time, every day is a roll of the dice...

Speaking of rolling the dice, I've got this Brooklyn-Bridge-over-Swampland-in-Florida that I'll sell ya. And, you're such a good guy, I'll sell you three for the price of two, while the supply lasts...

Ooops. Just sold the last three. Sorry, maybe next time?...

(Oh, and can I have my GA back???)
