11/17/2007 9:55 AM

Hi

I'm trying to find suitable power/energy meters for listed lasers below;

-ruby laser

-Argon ion laser

-Nd YAG laser

-HeNe laser

can anyone give me some suggestion on what type of meter for each of the lasers and do anyone know where can i find specification of the lasers and the meters.

Thank you

http://www.gentec-eo.com/

Google laser power meter and study the important specs, like wavelenght, power, etc.

One source that would accomodate several of what you need:

Hi,

Argon and He-Ne lasers both operate at CW "continuous wave" and ND-YAG can operate as CW as well but Ruby operates in pulsed mode

If accuracy based on wavelength is not a big concern then you can find laser power meters that will give you readings of Power ( CW) and Energy (pulsed power) in one package. There are many companies that manufacture laser power meters, Coherent, Gentec, Ophir , Scientech, etc....

Do a search on Google or Dogpile and poke around from there.

Good luck.
