hi guys, i am thinking of enrolling for my btech in power engineering and would like to do a design on renewable energy, especially solar as it is the one feasible for south africa, any help

1) Photovoltaic system to recharge electric or hybrid vehicles. Google is already doing this. Check it out here.

2) Thermodynamic system to power an air conditioning or refrigeration system (Here's a good starting point).

3) System (PV or Thermo) to provide potable water from dirty or salty water (uv with filtration for dirty water, distillation for salt water).
