How to unlock a network from PDA phone

yes, i have asked the network provider, and want to charge me 120 USD, too much for me. I am looking for a cheaper way. Thanks

It depends. If they will give it to you, fine, but they probably won't. I bought a phone outright and when I wanted to switch carriers they wanted $150.00 to give me the code. Jerks! What I did instead was call customer service and tell them I wanted to change my phone number. They walked me through the process to change the number on the phone (you have to call them on a different phone) but the give you the unlock code for the phone as part of the process. Write it down!!! It cost me $35.00 to change my number but that was better than $150.

Make sure you do it by calling in. If you go to the store they will do it and you won't have the opportunity to get the unlock code.
