Hyperloop Horror Movie

There certainly have been more preposterous disaster movies.

If the tube path does go subterranean, breaking the vacuum seal will still quickly spoil the vacuum, at the very least via the paths your bugs will enter the tunnel. More than likely dirt will clog an opening making for a slower leak to one atmosphere of pressure. The real problem will be the deceleration of the hyperloop capsule. This could create catastrophic g forces for the hapless occupants. If they survive the deceleration then the seal between capsule and tube pressure levels will keep the bugs out.

Yeah, how about a Tremors #6, or #9, or whatever. Kevin Bacon can be the hero, save the day as it were. The giant worm things can travel in the tunnels, and be strong enough to open the service gates, break the vacuum seal and have lunch and dinner all in one happy metal tube. The plot thickens, feel free to add....

OK...It's discovered that the worms are the larvae of fire breathing birds of prey that go about destroying everything and eating people...The movie then focuses on finding the eggs of these creatures that are hatching out....It's discovered that underground volcanic activity has warmed the eggs and this is the problem...

They find the nest only to find that the eggs are guarded by even more terrifying aliens....and the battle for survival of the human species is on...Oh it's on!

It's discovered that the aliens and the eggs were deposited millions of years ago, like 200 million years ago, and the aliens are unaware of this since they have been in temperature induced hibernation after an asteroid hit Earth and lowered the temperatures around the world creating an ice age that lasted for a million years...

The eggs and aliens were sent to Earth and other certain type planets to prepare them for another alien species that had forced these aliens that now guard the eggs to complete this task...

Since this planet yielded no results, the original aliens have long ago passed it by and have written off Earth as a failed mission...but the aliens now destroying life on this planet were programmed to destroy life at the time they were sent, which was all dinosaurs and giant crustaceans and such...they are also unaware of this as underground dwellers...

...our mission is to communicate to the aliens what has happened and stop them before they destroy all life on this planet...but they basically eat anything that moves, so we are faced with a decision to destroy them, or to continue to try to communicate...

It's all blamed on Global Warming and the liberal left wants to continue to try to communicate with these creatures while the conservative right wants to destroy them utterly...

The giant worms are mostly caught during the time when they are pupating into the winged creatures and destroyed as this happens above ground....but some are missed, and the worms are destroying everything under ground....time is running out as scientists forecast a mass hatching event on the coming summer months....

Now we are getting somewhere!! How about the aliens look like Cicadas, but giant ones that eat whatever is in their path. The now broken Hyperloop is in the way, with the hero and a host of other characters stuck in a pressurized portion, no way out except to brave a vacuum barrier and of course the monsters. SE, you get my second 10 million for advancing this plot!! Do lets throw in lots of Hollywood stars and starlets, some gratuitous flesh scenes, the bad guy ( I dont know who he is yet?) gets wiped out in there someway or the other.

You know who the bad guy is "Melon Husk", the builder of the hyperloop. The tunnels and the train noise is what awakened the Cicadas.

Ahhh, a disturbance in the force!! Monster Cicadas from Hell, in keeping with the dragon theme, we can have them breathe fire. Difficult, in the absence of all/most of the oxygen. Will the hypertunnels have pumped in air to the pods? I suppose they have to so passengers can breathe, or do they travel so fast that they just tell everyone to hold their breath? Maybe a couple of the red shirt actors ( ya know, the ones that always die ) can look like Arnold Shwartzenneger in total recall where he was ejected into an airless planet. This is shaping up to be an epic B or even C movie. Can we have Ed Wood as a director?

Sadly I think Ed Wood has passed. Maybe Rob Zombie?

I am now thinking we need a mastermind added to the equation. maybe he has tamed the creatures to do his ill will. He requests a ransom from Melon Husk or whomever to cover the whole tawdry mess up, and gain world domination. We could also add lava, as the monster bugs are able to burrow tunnels straight to the earths core!!

Ladies and Gentlemen, I thank you all for an entertaining week. I have a profession which requires working an off shift, and this little diversion has added a bit of banal humor and enlightenment to an otherwise mundane time at work. Keep going with this plot, who knows, maybe one of the big movie makers will buy it up and we can all retire!!

And Never forget, One day, somewhere in Hollywood, A person walked into a meeting and suggested they make a movie about a tornado full of sharks. Sharknado 6 was released in 2018.

Touché! that one is difficult to beat. Even with greater special effects capabilities, we can still find new lows in filmdom to explore.....

Its a great example to use with kids to help them get over the fear of presenting ideas and voicing opinions.
