Perpetual Energy Generated by Moving Vehicle

12/01/2007 1:03 PM

It appears to me that the perpetual energy generated by the air flow that is diffused into many small holes on the vehicles frame, plus the magnetic energy would give some form of motion which would contribute to the engine performance?

That energy is not being "generated" for free. The car engine is doing work to push the car through the air, which is doing its best to stop the car.

If you could stop "generating" this energy, by producing a car which had no drag, you'd be a step closer to perpetual motion.

Also you would have to Ionize the air so it would interact with the magnetic field.

google magnetohydrodynamics.

That will keep you busy and give you more ideas

Hey, you saw the film ground hog day?

I think we were in it trying to solve this perpetual energy theme thing.

Not to put a damper on things but, I am pretty sure that any small amount of energy you could produce in such a manner would be lost in the weight of the apparati needed to harness said energy, nevermind the air resistance (turbulence) created by trying to "harness" all that "air energy" by flushing it through small holes in a vehicle's frame.

Yes but by learning how to do it, knowledge of efficiencies and practicality should come into play.

Nothing is free not even the free lunch, someone or something pays for it.

Over efficiency has yet to be a reality, and is really doubtful.

Maximising efficiency is where it is at.

Who knows maybe someone will come up with an efficient magnetohydrodynamic wind turbine from all this.
