For a while, ATS automation was promoting a flexible cell concept. It was sheet with punched holes and photovoltaic balls in them. It was called Spheral Solar Power, but seems to have vanished.

What exactly are you looking for? Equipment to manufacture solar cells, modules or both. There are 199 companies alone in China producing solar modules. My company is researching the manufacture of solar panel assembly equipment. Some good companies who make equipment are Spire Solar, Thin Film Solar, GT Solar.

I know the spire company. I hope to get more about other like germany companies or swiss' informaion. I was told that they have more better production line than others.

A few months ago there was an article in Scientific American about a new, multilayer solar cell that increases solar cell efficiency from around 15% to over 40%. It had been tested using solar concentrators producing the equivalent of more than 400 suns shining on the cell. I don't remember the name of the company, but it is given in the article.
