Air Conditioning Question

What is the meaning of "airconditioning with containing oxygen"

Where did you read or hear this comment? There has to be a lot more detail on the subject in question. Are we talking about indoor air quality or are we talking about refrigerant purity ?

There are applications where O2 is added to the supply air ducts in A/C systems that are installed in buildings at high altitude. This is to ensure sea level dwelling visitors have a restful oxygenated sleep

Monitoring CO2 levels in buildings is common-place but I've never heard of oxygen injection. It makes some sense but I'm trying to imagine how many cubic feet per minute would be needed to make a noticeable difference and how expensive that would be to do that.

I'm also thinking there would have to be considerable safety controls in case the supply fan stops and the concentration of oxygen is a most dangerous accelerant.

I'll look into this though, just for curiosity.

Most AC supplier are cheating people by calling their Air coolers (by Refrigeration) as Air Conditioners. One easy I feel is to have some green leafy plants in side the air conditioned rooms.
