Danger! I See- Borg Ahead

09/01/2021 1:43 PM

This technology is in it's baby steps right now,but it will grow into a future connection of everyone's brain into a collective brain.

Resistance is futile..all will be assimilated.

Come on now. This is nothing new at all. Everyone I know is plugged into a device called a "cell phone'. It collects everything. And it can be seen commonly plugged into people faces and now more commonly by two small white wireless antenna that plug directly into their ear sockets.

Slow assimilation prevents revolt.

A little here,a little there, put the frog in cold milk and raise the temperature very

slowly, and before the knows it, it is boiling, and he is cooked.

Devices are becoming smaller and smaller every day.

The active components in a thumb drive are barely visible.

They are only large so they can be handled by humans.

Contact lenses with heads up display built in will soon be the norm, and they will be

superseded by optic nerve implants, followed by brain implants that will replace all

external devices we now know, and eventually in the womb, and children's

indoctrination and learnng can begin before birth.

They will posses the ability to speak in all known languages at birth, and have the entire human knowledge data base at their disposal.

People will be protected by personal guard drones, but not necessarily physical ones,

defending them against the hackers that want to steal their thoughts for

gain.(Tin foil hats,anyone?)

Money as we conceive it now will not exist;payments will be made by thought.

It is a brave new world ahead, and a scary one for those that have not been slowly

brought up to operating temperature.

We (the old codgers) will be allowed to fade away,or wiped out by a selective virus that targets only programmed DNA patterns..who knows?

Ok,enough of that.

I am going to put the cap on my Scotch and go to bed.

Goodnight!

Far to early to drink whisky for me, Its daylight. And already where I reside, people do not use money, just plastic cards and cell phones and many even have a chip under their skin to make payments

And that selective virus you mentioned, it's here, and doing a fine job it seems. It's all closer than we realize.

I used to go to the store with $5 and get a loaf of bread, a can of beans, a pound of bacon, a hoop of cheese,3 steaks,5 pounds of hamburger,a small ham,3 chickens and a gallon of milk.

Can't do that now....too many dam* cameras!

Science marches on. There's a project to make an electrical model of the brain. It's going to take a while. Meanwhile, memory of one lab rat has been transferred to another. So, if they could implant a chip in my ole buddy, Red, to make him walk again it would be wonderful (he fell and broke his neck). As I have said many times before, for every good thing in life, there's a down side. Look at how trying to preserve our freedom of speech has led to mass paranoid and countless conspiracy theories. The balance between privacy and crime is difficult to achieve.

Sometimes you really don't want to know what someone is thinking.

Case in point:

Thanks to Jerry Clower,I relate one of his stories:

Marcel Ledbetter was watching his old hound dog sleep, and he was kicking and snapping and licking in his sleep.

Marcel's uncle told him if the would put a newspaper under his pillow at night,he could dream the same dream as his hound dog.

So Marcel did it.

His aunt woke up the whole house, screaming at the top of her lungs.

Help!Help!Help! Marcel's got his head stuck in a salmon can.!

An old man many years ago told me that if I would sleep with the textbook under my pillow I would absorb all the words in the book. I tried it and naturally flunked the first test. But now, it seems possible-just implant a chip instead of sleeping on the book!

There would be more common sense decisions if emotion was removed and a chip could probably do that. But it would be a bland life. Who would want it? The controllers of society would like it until they got the implant! Hey hey.

But there would be a decisive neglect to many people. They would only allow those deemed intelligent to be downloaded, so I would imagine there would then be selected data centres. Thus being a data centre for the west of selected folks, a data centre for Africa, one in Asia and one in Australia etc. And selected folks would be picked to go into a main data centre. So you will still have the super intelligent folks who will gain as they have riches and the poor folks will be excluded. So you will end up with the rich running the world and a pretense of people being in a collective. On second thoughts, you will have a collective of undesirables so really we are no better off than we are now. BS does baffle brains and there are plenty baffled folks out there.

The only chip for me is accompanied with battered fish. The world has become too stupid for me.

Sometimes we must just have faith that everything is going to be all right because there's nothing we can do about it. Anyway, I like southern fried catfish. Have you ever tried cold fried catfish as a munchie? The thicker pieces are the best.

Hope sir Hope. 'Tis better to have a soul full of hope. than a hole full of soap.

Never eaten catfish. Battered cod or whiting and chips with lots of salt.
