To measure Dew Point RH, Temperature & moisture contents of Gaseous Stream

12/07/2021 12:19 AM

Hello,

We are looking for the "Dew Point Analyzer" mainly which could measure the Dew Point RH, Temperature & moisture contents of the Gaseous Stream.

Process medium is "Helium (g) + Moisture"

please suggest the appropriate equipment to measure this gas.

Helium should be less than 5ppm moisture for high purity use....

Once the moisture measures above the setpoint, it is too late.

Discuss the matter with the supplier of the <...helium...>, with a view to obtaining a 100% compliant supply.

<...please suggest the appropriate equipment to measure this gas...>

It will probably be quicker to approach manufacturers directly by telephone rather than wait for a/several CR4 user(s) to respond.

<...We...>

It looks like there are a number of individuals able to make the calls.

Cipher,

There are two ways to describe the water content--relative humidity and absolute humidity. The first is the percent of water (in its vapor or gaseous form) compared to the amount that saturates the gas stream (the dew point has been reached). The second is the actual amount of water in the total gas stream, stated in appropriate units of measurement.

In a fairly cold gas stream, the absolute humidity can be pretty low while the relative humidity could be near 100%. Heat that gas stream up and the absolute humidity has not changed but the relative humidity will be much lower.

SE has suggested various instruments that can be used, depending on the accuracy and the traceability needed for your project.
