Once you copy and paste your image, hit the preview button, if the size is not satisfactory, hit the edit button, left click on the image, the image will turn blue and little white windows will appear at the corners of the blue box, hover over the little white window and left click and hold and drag the corner to the size desired, note, as you increase size, you lose clarity as it can't manufacture more pixels....You need an external photo drop to get maximum size and clarity, like Dropbox...

The best answer depends on which computer and which software you are using to combine the image and the scale(s). I assume "div" means divisions.

I'm a Mac guy, so I can only assume that SE's answer is correct for a PC using some standard software. As I interpret the original post, you have the divisions at the desired size, and the pasted image is too large, so you need to reduce the size of the image. In that case, you don't need to worry about the apparent loss of clarity from enlargement of the image.

If there is a way to paste one image over another here in CR4, I'm not aware of it...

You need to give us more idea of context.

What environment are you working in?

What do you mean by "div"?

What kind of image is it? (jpg, tif, gif, png etc.)

Do you have any image processing software? (Paint Shop Pro; Photoshop; the GIMP, or, other)

Do you just want to use the "windows image viewer"? if so: double click on the image file (in this case a jpg)

click on the three little dots at the right hand end of the tool bar:-

Click on Resize

Click on "Define custom dimensions"

Choose to maintain aspect ratio or not, and choose to increase or decrease sizes

and click on "Save resized image"
