Seahorse,

Can I assume you've already tried "Googling" the subject? I'm afraid your request is just a little too specific for online tutorials. The subject is rather straightforward, though. I would need more info on your application to help you here, such as:

What is your experience level in electronics design?

Do you have circuit board design experience?

Do you require a special one-off for a single purpose, or will you need several/many?

Will you be building the cards yourself, or sending the design out?

What are the input voltages and currents? Output voltages and currents?

Analog or digital inputs and/or outputs?

Will this unit be part of any type of human interface? (Safety issues)

What is the amount of isolation voltage requirement between input and output?

Do you need filtered inputs to prevent multiple inputs from a single input signal?

What type of output protection will you need?

There are a few more important parameters, but as you can see, even though its straightforward, there are a LOT of issues to consider, so if you haven't found anything online yet, please give the info above, and I'll see what I can do to help.

Well said CJ. He paints with a very broad brush.

Thanks, KWS.

For someone like myself, who is a frustrated teacher at heart, it is also frustrating to see so many people sending in questions that are so broad in scope that you simply can't help them. I am hoping by listing what I did, that at least Seahorse will now have a clearer idea of what is involved, and realize that a lot of education is necessary to even begin such a project, even if he has quite a bit of electrical/electronic experience. I know how long it took me, and I'm not the dullest knife in the drawer!

Thanks again for the kind words.

CJ
