Lightning arrestor standards in India

Hi,

Can we use ESE type LA system OR faradays cage system is mandatory in India for buildings and structures and will be approvable by Electrical Inspector?

How about one of the <...we...> making a simple telephone call to the <...Electrical Inspector...>?

The applicable Indian standard IS/IEC 62305...you will need written approval from the AHJ....

Interesting how things like this can take off. While I would not claim that ESE doesn't work, I wouldn't bet my life that it does.
