How long a list do you want? Some will be specific to the type of display technology used (color, monochrome, LCD, CRT, LED, etc). Others will relate to the application (ambient light levels, degradation of the surface, physical damage, abuse, etc.) Others will be by aging, "burn-in". How about the display device becoming obsolete for changes in its application?
More insidious will be the problems arising from the software which is used to form the display, such as: its becoming obsolete, incompatible with an operating system, or the technical knowledge to use it being forgotten or lost (or retired).
ALL is too inclusive a word in your question. I have over 20 years experience in control automation and over 40 years of experience with computers, and I know I could never list ALL the ways!
