ABB & Siemens - MV Switchgear or HV Switchgear

I've noticed that most EPC companies in oil & gas prefer ABB over Siemens for MV switchgear or HV switchgear. Why is ABB preferred over Siemens? What benefit/advantage it brings over Siemens?

It is cheaper to get the exact features they need for their installation.

The question is: Who has all parts available in case of catastrophic failures. I have seen cases where insulators had to be made on demand causing expensive delays:(not naming names).
