Log In Issue

Admin question - for several months I have had to log in each time I open CR4. I would prefer to stay logged in, but can't see how to select that. Please advise.

I have to verify I am human, although I don't see how checking a box does that.

Have you had a DNA test lately?

I have experienced the same.

I am assuming this is an effort on the part of CR4 admin to hinder the participation of bad actors here at the forum. There is evidence that the forum has been agressively probed for weakness in recent months.

This minor inconvenience seems a relatively small price to pay for a kinder, gentler, more pleasant experience here.

I would be interested to know if my assumption has any merit.

The new log in procedure(s) seems a large price to pay for the privilege for not having to wade through pages of diet/exercise adds. (sarc off) IIRC there was a break in within the last week or so. Where there's a will there's a way

I have to do that on a lot of sites. It depends on what server my VPN is using. When I turn my VPN off, then all sites assume I’m human. From a domestic ISP.

Hello! Interesting and appreciated that you bring this up. Personally - I have been logged in without issue or needing to re-enter credentials for a while. This COULD be due to my admin status, but I also cannot say for sure. I'll investigate it.

And yes- there are a lot of bots and spam and other less than valuable accounts we try to stay ahead of to make the experience more authentic. We are small but mighty, and also appreciate our members helping call out sus content or users. I wonder if HUSH will provide any clarity soon.

Happy New Year!
