I can 't help but think that the universe is acting like a bubble rising from the depths.
It is increasing in size,speeding up as it rises,and becoming less dense.
A bubble bumping into a ledge, or other obstruction will pause or slow down until it clears the ledge, then speed up again.
A second bubble following will rise faster due to the drafting effect of the first bubble.
I wonder if there is a second, third or more bubble following our universe, or maybe we are not the first bubble?
The expansion of the universe does not require more energy from an unknown force, but is expanding from a decrease in outside "pressure".
Thoughts on this are most welcome.
