Statimeter M5537 for ISO pumps

06/02/2026 4:24 AM

Hi! I have limited knowledge about this instrument, all information available to me is this picture, model # - M5537, that it is a Statimeter, it is hydraulic measurement instrument and it is made spesificaly for ISO pumps. Other than that, I am pretty sure the thing is really dated, so if there is any information regarding where to find or buy this item, maybe perhaps somebody can educate me on new versions, analog instruments that perform the same functions, etc. Just anything useful would be great to get.

This has the general appearance of an early model portable hydraulic load cell.

I am unfamiliar with the term ‘Statimeter’.

What are you trying to accomplish that you are seeking our assistance?

Thank you for your answer. Not me, but there is a person that reached out because they are looking for this thing, and they needed help finding it. They were looking to potentially replace it/buy a newer model. Do you know anything more about this thing?

Okay, someone is looking for one of these, and you are trying to help them find one. A noble and commendable quest.

If someone needs a set of modern stand alone load cells (basically a heavy duty industrial bathroom scale with some extra features) these are ubiquitous, widely available for $100 US bucks or so to several thousands of US bucks.

A 0-40 tonne gauge is a pressure or force indicator primarily designed for measuring hydraulic press output, structural loads, or heavy-duty machinery capacities. These gauges typically measure the internal pressure of hydraulic cylinders (e.g., in PSI or bar) and directly display the equivalent force exerted in tonnes.

So, to design a replacement, we really need to know where and how the sensor puck is installed into the pump output, and the mechanics of the device that converts pressure in kpa or psi to mechanical force in tonnes. This puck appears to be mounted in a Tee fitting on a large diameter pipe line, maybe 100mm?

Once we have the pressure range the instrument will experience, and the potential for shock loads, an easy substitution of a modern instrument can be developed. You are likely looking at anywhere from $1000 to $3,000 for a high accuracy instrument, depending on the design and your accuracy needs.

Thank you very much, that's exactly what we were looking for! I guess now we just have to choose which one we want, model/type/manufacturer.

Really thank you for your help, I was lost on the internet trying to identify this thing. I appreciate it.
