Hi everyone,
I am currently working on a stamping die design project involving aluminum sheet metal, but I've run into a persistent issue with material cracking during the forming process.
I suspect it might be related to the bending radius, material grain direction, or the drawing velocity, but I haven't been able to pinpoint the exact root cause yet.
To give you a better idea of the exact geometry, die structure, and the cracking locations we are experiencing, I have uploaded the specific design details and case study parameters here:

Has anyone encountered similar cracking issues with aluminum deep drawing metal stamping? What are your go-to solutions regarding blank holder force adjustments or radius optimization in the die design stage?
Any insights, formulas, or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance,
