Need to know the density of your product to give a definitive answer, but my feeling is that it is not possible in one stage.

You can only ever suck to 1 atmosphere... (~1bar)

Can't you have the pump lower down and push the stuff rather than sucking it...you can get a positive pressure of several bar very easilly...

If you have steam, why not use a piston pump that has steam cylinders on one side and pump cylinders on the other. I think Worthington makes them and maybe Platt Pump. They are used everywhere to pump high viscosity materials and come in all sizes. One sugar refiner in Hawaii use them as large as 18" bores.

Del and others are correct. It needs to be pumped rather than sucked.

Low-shear pumps are the sort of things to look for. Consider:

  • Lobe pumps
  • Gear pumps
  • Peristaltic pumps

Why not use an airlift pump instead? You have no chance with a vacuum pump.

it would be difficult to let u know the exact specs without knowing the full deatail of ur pumping medium(like viscosity, density, temp, pressure etc etc)

why you want only vacuum pump ? i thk gear pump will also a good option for you ask to pump vendor with full detail he will better help you

good luck
