I have a client that is working on a control system of some old GE drives. It is communicating synchronously on RS-422. There is a protocol there named "Control Party Line". Now, the hardware/software that my company makes can sniff the connection and decode the SDLC layer, but to decode the "Control Party Line" protocol, I am going to need some documentation.
Has anyone any experience with this?
Any idea of where to look (Google provided very little for me)?
Reverse engineering is obviously going to be called for here since I can see he data, but a head start for my engineers or the client would be wonderful.
