Derating factors for Cu. busbar

1. While designing for Cu. bus bar what de-rating factors should be considered? 2. How Enclosure area effects the derating of busbars ?

skin effect

grouping factor

Intial temperature

Final temperature

Purity of copper for electrical work

Enclosure sizing

Ventilation of the room where switch gear is to be loacted

Altitude above sea level (relative air density), emissivity and absorptivity are also factors to be considered.
