The monitoring system of Touchtel Telephone Exchanges
Project description:
Customer: Touchtel ,Chennai
Details: The Touchtel Telephone Exchanges are monitored for operation of
Power, Air Conditioners, Fire Operation, with in the telephone
exchange and also from remote through Modem.
In any eventuality the DG set will be operate and feed Power.
The Air conditioner will operate alternatively every 12 hours and in
case one fails the other one will switch on. On any smoke or fire
detection the system will raise alarm to the Master controlling
station. History of events are recorded in the PLC system and can
be down loaded to the remote controlling station for study and
control.
More than 75 installations are in operation

Project description: DG synchronization with Grid
Customer: Nokia India Ltd through Leighton Contractors India Pvt ltd for
Nokia SEZ Plant at Sriperumbudur,near Chennai,Tamilnadu
Details: There are Two Substations. Each substation is provided with 4/5
transformers and 4/5 DG sets
These transformers are feeding the utility through MDBs 1-5 and
each MDB is inter connected through tie Breakers.
We have developed Scheme through PLC any two selected DGs
can start on power failure and feed Power to the utility by
synchronizing among themselves and on resumption of power the
DGS will get synchronized with Grid and load will be transferred
from the DG to Transformer smoothly and the DGs will be shut off
after soft transfer of load.

Project description: Water Tank Automation
Customer: Nokia India Ltd through Leighton Contractors India Pvt ltd for
Nokia SEZ Plant at Sriperumbudur,near Chennai,Tamilnadu
Details: There are Three Borewell Pumps and one fire Tank The Fire tank is
provided with Ultrasonic level sensor. The level of the tank is
continuously monitored and the depending upon the level in the
tank the pumps are made to start automatically and stop
automatically on reaching the predefined level.
The Pumps are made to operate in cyclic rotation. Events are
stored in the PLC and can be monitored by dragging the data to
TOUCHSCREEN PROVIDED The PLC is connected to the main
system through MODBUS Protocol
