Deuterium Lamps

Hello everybody !

Can any body tell the correct way of disposing the deuterium lamps used in the analytical instruments like spectrophotometer etc .

Hello aks,

Consult with the lamp manufacturer for guidelines relating to lamp disposal. As deuterium is an isotope of hydrogen, it is flammable, but deuterium is not radioactive if that is your primary concern.

There are many companies that will destroy/recycle all bulbs.
