Lithium Ion rechargable batteries

01/17/2008 7:36 AM

I wish to have details of the lithium ion batteries, their formation, working & the features that make them better than other NiCd or NiMh batteries.

Somebody can help me in giving the details or suggesting me where from I can get these details.

Regards

Pradeep

Only yesterday, there was an article on the research results of a Li battery formed on an anode made of Silicon nano wires in one of the CR4 web journals. It reported that the new battery would hold 10 times the charge of a conventional Li battery.

Have a look at the attached link: -

http://www.buchmann.ca/toc.asp

This is a extremely good site to learn about batteries of all varieties and thier comparitive benefits.

A lot of reading but well worth it.

Pradeep,

Please review the following offering of Lithium Ion cells in high power or high energy options. Three can sizes are available and Iron Phosphate has recently been added to this companies offering.

If you or anyone else would like to discuss the performance advantages of LiIon cells vs. Nickel based chemistry please contact me.
