Paleontologists in Argentina have excavated the fossils of a dinosaur species that was slightly larger than Tyrannosaurus rex. An analysis of members of the Mapusaurus roseae species indicates that an adult exceeded 40 feet in length! One of the most intriguing bones was the longest known fibula, or shin bone, for any meat-eating dinosaur.
