X, Y & Z on a THree-Phase Plug?

on 3 phase plug what is X,Y,and Z and what do they stand for?

They are simply denoting your phase connections. They could just as well be a, b, c, 1,2,3 etc. Most important meaning is "don't hook ground to here."
