World UFO Disclosure

i'm currently listening to a short history of nearly everything by bill bryson (as I type), it puts things into perspective and addresses the ufo topic. BTW the MIB in this country use ford mondeos.

Growing up in the 60's my family lived in Las Vegas Nevada. Every morning my Dad would drive down to an unmarked terminal building at McCarren airport and would fly out into the desert. Every evening he would fly back and come home.... He was an electrical engineer, but I never knew what he did on the job...

And if the Governments told you they were real etc. etc. Could you believe what they said? Or would it be a smoke screen or red herring for something else?

Ok, ok, truth be told... I believe in UFO's. I have seen things over the skies of Sandy Eggo (i.e. Ferrisville) that I could not attribute to an airplane or aircraft that I have ever seen. I know, also, that the CIA used the whole ufo phenomena to cover up their "black" projects, supposedly that is. The u2 and sr71, the f117a and the b2 etc. all came about lie this, again supposedly. Can you say Aurora? I have questioned people that I consider in the "know" about all of the breakthroughs of recent years, fiber optics and stuff like that. How did it come about? How could we have gotten so much advancement SO fast? The answer that I was given? Information is more readily available for people to see; especially, with the advent of the computer, and use so it is far easier to come up with the innovations that are being come up with nowadays.

Still, I want to think that not ALL of the unexplained ufo sightings are hoaxes. That, hmmmm, they are not a government cover up of some sort. That "the Truth is out there..." (enter the tired old sounds of the X files theme song).

OK, lets state the question differently. What evidence is there that UFOs exist? Non.

Why do people believe in UFOs? Because of the consistent denials by the gov.com? Would we believe it if they said 'Oh yes, we have a UFO hidden away, but we can't show you'. Probably not.

What did we believe in before UFOs? Witches. And before that, dragons!

I'm putting this down to wishful thinking, a need in the human psyche that needs an undefined something to explain the unknown.

I'd put this in the same box as belief in the supernatural.

The Belgian organisation of UFO spotters has decided to stop it's activities as since the end of the 80ties no UFO spotting has been reported.

Before that period we had quite some UFO sightings, and even military events that have been reported and logged by Military radar systems. (Our army is not that efficient in secrecy and communication so the prime minister is informed by the press that there are incidents.) There has always been an concern that it were US military aircraft on mission towards the USSR, or testing how sneaky they were.

For me these kind of organisations are governmental driven to keep the masses busy and agree on the ridiculous money spending on military systems.

It is in the range of religion and keeping education levels low. The lower the education level of a region, the higher the UFO spotting rate is. (I can't prove it but there must be a decent correlation)

In the medieval ages, spotted UFOs had the form of beer cans.

As you point out, there have been numerous instances of UFO sightings throughout history. Personally, I believe they exist, but so what if they do? If they do no harm what is the difference.

Do you think that highly civilized aliens would like to "contact" us? Do you think earthpeople are capable of taking a positive advantage of such a contact?

We are a bunch of uncivilized people, killing eachother all over the world, and when we do not kill eachother, we kill time, sitting in front of the TV looking at stupid programmes, and loads of publicity proposing products we will never buy anyway. We are not able to respect our neighbours and in some countries (even "civilized" ones) where everybody can carry a gun, and be ready to kill its fellow citizen. We destroy nature, we exterminate species, we destroy historical heritage.

Some intelligent people exist but they are goodwilling and poorly organized or they are badwilling and well organized. Just have a look at politics. Why is it that there is always a battle for power? Why can't wise men just do the right things for us?

What alien would like to tell other civilized aliens that he is now a friend of the earth people?

They have the power to stay quite invisible and so will they continue to do so, I think.

I never met MIB but I would be happy to invite them for a coffee or lunch and an open talk. Of course if they exist they don't care about me because I never met aliens so I guess they will just remain an illusion to me or they do not exist and will never come and see me anyway.

I have an open mind and I hope uninfluenced as well. So whenever I meet a (friendly) alien I would be happy to learn from him or her. It would not hurt my feelings or my pride to know there are more intelligent beings around. There are plenty humans that are more intelligent and civilized than myself and I can live with that too.

More likely they would say forget 42 and put the freeway in. The people in control of this mess are our own worse enemy. Not that I have seen anyone that could do any better.

The premises is the Earth was built to be a massive computer to figure out the answer of another massive computer and that answer was 42. But before the answer was generated by Earth it was destroyed to make way for an intergalactic freeway.
