Functions of Mitsubishi-A2SH CPU

Dear engineers,

Please help me for choosing appropriately type of Mitsubishi PLC which can be replaced of A2SH CPU e.g. Fx-2N? or Fx-3U?

I suggest you contact a Mitsu distributor - they'll advise. It's in their interest to get it right, as it will reflect badly on them if they give you poor advice.

Thanks, I have contacted to Mitsu's engineer and he said that Fx2N-CPU have almost functions which have been in A2SH CPU. Our same machine was using A2SH (large type) CPU that will be discontinued from Mitsubishi in 2008, I want to replace it by equivalant type e.g. Fx-2N or Fx-3U.

The best replacement for a Mitsubishi PLC is a garbage can, because that's about all it's good for....

Go buy a real PLC like an Allen-Bradley or a Siemens...

Were you finally able to replace your A2SH CPU with upgraded Fx2N or Fx3U ? I too am looking at a similar situation. Any further problems you faced and guidance would be appreciated. Thanks.
