NEED FREQUENCY GENERATOR CIRCUIT :

INPUT TO CIRCUIT :24VDC 14.6A supply from PLC pannel

OUTPUT freq :20 Hz to 200KHz

OUTPUT voltage :5v DC

OUTPUT current : Min. 4ma--Max 30ma

I am planning to make a simulator circuit which simulates pulses from flowmeters, photoswitches etc.for PLC High Speed Counter module for testing purpose ....

................please provide me a simple circuit

Dear Ramdaskalam,

You have posted a "Frequency Generator" question, some days ago, with absolutely the same content. We, the people, gave you information, advices.

If you only read them, you'd, already, have your PLC tested.

I provided you with a link:

http:// cr4.globalspec.com/comment/172776

where you find a data sheet for an integrated circuit that gnerates 3 waveforms, more than enough for your project (and cheap, too!)

You have posted the same question the second time, and that makes me think that:

-You have "paste and copy" the first one….by mistake

-You haven't read any of the answers that you have received

-You are a good statistician and are looking for a large number of samples (read – answers)

-

(the last one I have censored myself)

So, dear colleague, do me this favor and tell me, personally, that you have visited the web site that I have hinted, and if you considered it a good or a bad direction.

Yours truly

Please refer to Pulse & Digital Circuits by Millman and Taub from which you should be able to design your own simple circuit instead of just copying a circuit used elsewhere
