Software for Pavement Design?

02/05/2008 3:16 PM

I am looking for software dealing with pavement design (rigid and flexible). Currently we use subcosultants for x-sections. We want to be able to verify this information and or use it for design on some projects. Any suggestions would be appreciated, I would like to here peoples experience along with looking through the various websites.

Check with your State Department of Transportation. Here in Florida (US of A) our DOT has free software for downloading. Of course they don't warrant the software in any way!

good afternoon!

there're several programs that can help you, but the old ELSYM5 is one of the best, and makes very good aproaches to reality.

I think you can find it easy. you must also have a xls sheet that helps you to calculate the Shell's or Nothigam's parameters.

good luck
