Scheduling n jobs on m machines software

02/11/2008 10:01 AM

For time being I am handling this task using EXCEL sheets to follow the daily status of work orders based on clients orders on n machines. I am wondering if there is a simple software that does scheduling. For time being, I am not asking for a complete solution such ERP software. I do thank you for the help.

If Excel is working for you, I'd say that is as simple as you can get.

Alternatively, you could use a database to store the task information you are putting in Excel, and that would be a little more assessible between machines (assuming you have a network server running a database).

Without knowing more about what you are trying to do, I can't really suggest anything particular.

You might want to take a look at www.MaxScheduler.com. This is simplified scheduling software.
