List thr types of data files which may be defined by the user of programmer whn he/she is programming a PLC.

The list can be found in the user instructions for the PLC programming software package.

Sounds like a homework question. Are you asking about user-defined types of data files, or a list of the factory-defined types of data files (such as bit, timer, integer, etc.)? In some PLC families, you are limited to the factory-supplied files, but others allow the user to identify additional files up to the limits of internal memory.

There are three types of data files that may be defined by the use in a PLC Programming operation, they are:

1. Short files

2. Long files

3. Right files

4. Wrong files

For more information please consult you user programming guide which is provided in the seat back in front of you.
