positioning louver

02/13/2008 8:57 AM

I am looking for louvers that are motorized and can be controlled for positioning. Can someone recommend a supplier in USA. They will be installed in the ceiling and wall of a building.

Are these louvers to keep the sun out? To control air flow? Is there some other use that you have?

What kind of material might work best for you? Is there some idea as to the size, weight or other physical properties that you can share?

More information will help.

In the meantime, click here for information from The Engineering Web(r).

we are controlling air flow in and out of a room. The ceiling mounted louver is to be 48" x 48" and the 2 wall mounted louvers are to fit in 2- 36" x 36" openeings. They can be any material that will last. We will control them with a temperature controller.

Maximum CFM through the 48" louver would be 5000. Divide that for the 2 36" which will be inlets.
