	"What are the top three design criteria used for choosing a heat spreaders in electronic packaging applications?" The most important criteria is cost, because all other criteria are related. If the power dissipating component is mounted directly on the spreader, then expansion coeficient and thermal conductivity are the next criteria. If the spreader must provide electrical insulation, electrical properties are also high on the list.
