please tell me simply about basic parameters of an ac drive feeding to an induction motor driving a roller.

Hello Mr.spsingh,

Your question is not clear. Do you want to know about variable frequency drive (VFD)for AC motors or any other type of drive ? Please elaborate your question so that a proper reply can be given.

Yes, its a VFD feeding an induction motor driving a roller.

i am working in a textile mill having continuous process machines equipped with VFDs of KEB,LENZE,ABB, Yaskawa,Eurotherm & Vacon etc.

i dont know sufficiently about VFD parameterising. what are main parameters to set.

Kindly guide me.

The better way to learn is to look the parameters of a simple VFD frequency inverter.

Please have look the parameters on following link. That will give you an idea what VFD can do.
