hello Everybody,
I am a material science research scholar. I had just started my work when I came across a problem in XRD. Can anyone tell me how to analyze XRD results??

XRD Analysis

You're not going to get any quick answers to this one - people have been working on this huge subject for many years. Databases are available from commercial outlets which can be used to help analyse the XRD output (given the right software!) but these tend to be pretty expensive. A good starting point is probably Hugo Rietveld's site (link below), which has some general info., free/shareware downloads and some good links. Good luck! http://home.wxs.nl/~rietv025/

I think you must go through a course work on maaterials characterization, reading from wikepedia or any info from website wont fetch you more info. Its better to read book on x- ray diffraction ( brown color, adisson wiley publication), forgot autor name. For XRD analysis of inorganic samples you can use prozki program that will do most of the material identification and also the about lattices and miller indices. Read fromf materials handbook to get more inofrmation..

I think this will fetch a you a master in XRD.
