I can't help thinking that this is yet another attempt to avoid responsibility for being unable to concentrate on the task at hand. I.e. Driving. You can almost see the plea now, 'I hit the car in front because my proximity alarm failed'

All the driving aids in the world wont save antibody's life if you cant drive competently in the first place.

Quite. There are already multiple reports of vehicles becoming immobilised in flood waters because the silly driver aimed it in by following the SatNav instead of thinking.

Derrrh! Floodwater! Derrrrh!!

SatNavs. Pwah! Who wants 'em, eh?
