Re: current

This is a perfect example. Both of these topic are fully covered in your engineering texts, or if you prefer a very quick internet search will get you answers...

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vibration

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Electric_current

Vibration (mechanical motion) and current (flow of electrons) are completly different physical phenomonon. The difference between the two is the same as the difference between an apple and a book.

But then maybe you are not asking about electical current?

but i think there is no such thing like electrons .

I suggest you forget about electrical/electronic engineering.
As a matter of conscience you should stop using your computer immediately as by inference you should not believe in it!

How can we explain something you don't believe in???

I suggest you find a philosophy or religious forum if you want to discus belief.

OR

Take a PP3 battery and place your tongue on the terminals, the sharp tingle you feel is due to electricity...I don't care how you choose to explain it...but it exists.

Have you ever seen a blue snooker ball?

Electrons are just like that, but a tad smaller

Ahhhh but billiard balls act like particles.... so where is the wave like side to the electron analogy?

I know the billiard ball is made out of water....

Do you see air, no... but you know it is there,

and if it is gone you feel the effect of that... ..

Do you see gravity, no... but if you trip you don't fly off into space, you fall flat on your face.

Do you see me? Maybe I am not here either and you are just dreaming that you read this post...

BUT I FEEL AIR

DO U FEEL CURRENT?

I'LL SAY NO BECAUSE IT IS VIBRATION OF HIGHER FREQUENCY NOT THAT COLIDING OF TWO ELECTRONS BECAUSE I'LL SAY THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS ELECTRONS

Yes, have you never been shocked? Take a 9 v battery and put your tongue across the terminals. You'll feel it..

But I have had enough of your nonsense.

You obviously either don't read or don't understand our responses...
So I expect you will soon find we don't bother responding.

And frankly we don't give a toss what you believe in....

So I'm out.

Why ask questions when you obviously don't want an answer...? But maybe just an argument.

Try here instead...

Practical examples

Go out and put your hand on your car engine feel it shake thats the vibration of the cylinders going up and down.

Now reach over and pull the wire off the coil. The jolt you get as the engine dies is the effects of electrical current going through your body. Electrical current is the travel of free electrons in a conductor due to a change in potential. In this case the 20 thousand volt build up in the coil to earth ground thru your body.

If you need more help in your belief that electrons do exist I'm sure i can think of others.

You ever play golf in a thunderstorm?

I'm not sure what you mean by being basically a mechanical engineer. You either are or are not. If you are a graduate ME and don't understand the difference (and seem convinced electrons do not exist), you might either look at getting a tuition refund or consider going back as a business major. With a business or accounting degree in hand you should be well equipped to head a major corporation in no time.

OK, when you urinate on an electric fence, current is what flows up the stream into your body, through your body, and into the ground. Vibration is the crazy dance you do when that happens.
