HuckLoc Rivets

02/22/2008 4:46 AM

Hi chaps,

Has anyone come across a system of automatic feed of HuckLoc rivets to a pneumatic rivet gun which also counts the number of rivets used. My colleague has been looking for such a system for some time but to no avail.

Thanks

Al

As far as I know they don't exist, and if you are trying to pull Huck pins and swaging the collars it takes hydraulic equipment. Cherry Locs can be pulled with pneumatic equipment or even by hand for the smaller sizes but I have never seen auto feed or counting systems for these either.

I used to work for Huck in Tucson Az. Maybe I can help through my contacts, but I need to know if the HuckLoc Rivet a commercial product? I don't think it's Aerospace.
