Looking for flat ceramic sharpening stones

02/23/2008 9:36 AM

Does anyone know whom I may contact to find long (18"-2') flat ceramic sharpening stones? Possibly fron 800 grit to 2000 grit? I've looked everywhere that I know to look. They seem to only come in 6"-10" lengths. Maybe even possibly 4"-6" wide. They need to 'fit' my pocketbook too.

I recommend Smith's Abrasives:

http://www.smithabrasives.com/sa/.

I have used their products on my own knives. I don't know if they will do cutom products, but it wouldn't hurt to check with them. They do make quality products.

What are you attempting to sharpen on the ceramic stones.

I use ceramic synthetic water stones in my business and have a good working knowlege of them and where to purchase.
