Dear friend

You can search and read many questions / answers about cable sizing which have been already discussed here in electrical engineering section.

Welcome to the forum..a.aladawi.

We wish you will contribute to and learn from the forum.

Some tips for asking questions...do not hesitate to give more details, like in this case

a) the length of cable

b) Buried or on Cable tray.

c) 3 X single core or 1 X 3core.

d) Any future load additions on the cable.

If we go by purely the current method i would suggest 3 core X 240 sq mm Copper SWA XLPE cable.

Good luck.

Hello :

the length of cable is 100 m ,buried, 1x4 core and there not any future load

additions on the cable.

In the machine we have the following motors:

8 x 18.5 kw λ/∆

3 x4kw

1x5.5kw

1x30kw λ/∆

2x0.75kw

1x 1.5kw

1x3kw

1x11kw λ/ ∆

The best rule of thumb.....size according to the motor starter requirements and you will not go wrong.
