MATERIALS TO BE USED FOR THE PRODUCTION OF LIQUID SELF SHINNING SHOE POLISH

good day, am a chemical engineer ,i just got an offer to be a production manager with a liquid self shinning shoe polish industry, my first job is to find out the materials to be used in the production of this product, from my research i got to know that wax, lanolin,resin,non ionic emulsifier and other additives are to be used, my question is at what proportion should all these raw materials be added and what exactly best type of wax to be used to get the best end result

I doubt very much whether you'll get a useful answer to your question, as anyone who has formulated the "best" (or even a good) recipe would have to be pretty dumb to hand out their intellectual property to all and sundry on an open forum.

As production manager, surely your job would be to make the product (as specified by your R&D department, little old man/woman who dreamed up the formula etc) with the greated possible efficiency - not to muck about with the mixture?

If you really must find out about it, best I can suggest is to start with the wikipedia entry, and follow the links.

Also try some google searches for the names of your ingredients, in connection with the word "polish".
